KEYS TO YOUNGQUIST BROTHERS' SUCCESS: Attention to detail, experience with drilling lead, and knowing precisely what equipment is needed to do the job right.
History -
In 1971, after having worked with their father in residential well drilling, Tim and Harvey Youngquist established their own drilling business right after high school. At first, they worked alone -- selling the jobs, performing the work, repairing the equipment, keeping the books, and planning for the future
In 1977, the company was incorporated and became known as Youngquist Brothers, Inc.
Initially, they drilled home water wells. They progressed to drilling agricultural water supply wells, then to municipal potable water supply wells. · They went from several hundred feet to thousands of feet. They went from 2" wells to 4" wells to 6" wells.
Soon, they were constructing their own wells and building their own equipment to engineer the rigs.
They also realized that traditional rigs were not suited for this type of work. They began a program of acquiring and building more equipment and expanded the company's capacity to drill even more complicated and sophisticated wells.
In 1983, Youngquist Brothers, Inc. was awarded their first Class I injection well contract.
Since then, Youngquist Brothers has grown to become not only the largest deep injection well contractor in the United States, but also a leading advocate for the defense of deep injection wells as a safe and reliable disposal option for Florida.
The Future of the Company -
Youngquist Brothers continues to plan for the future by dedicating its energy and resources to defending injection wells as a viable and safe method for the protection of both the state's natural resources and human heath.
The company's goal is BEST injection well driller in the industry. Its plan is to employ the best, most experienced deep injection management, to provide them with the best equipment that is specifically designed and constructed for drilling large diameter, deep wells, and to vertically integrate all critical down hole functions, including logging and cementing, thereby controlling both scheduling and quality of work.
