Youngquist Brothers has had a long standing commitment to safety. Our new E-Rigs have been specifically designed to help reduce the chance of safety issues arising in the field.

All five of the E-Rigs have been identically manufactured. This allows for moving personnel from rig to rig when necessary without any delay in learning how the rig is operated. This has been a great safety factor in that each crew member can do the job they have been taught and not be put into any unsafe scenarios on new rigs.

YBI spent much effort in getting the working floor at the lowest elevation possible. The floor is only four feet high which makes it a very safe working height for personnel that are constantly moving around on the deck. Many unsafe practices and potential injuries have been eliminated by keep the rig height so low.

Youngquist Brothers also worked very hard to eliminate ladders on the drill site. All elevated platforms are accessed with stairs and handrails when possible. This is one more way the YBI is trying to keep our personnel and yours as safe as possible.

When necessary, the E-Rig can be elevated on box frames to safely accommodate a B.O.P or other safety device.
