Weight System
In 2008 in conjunction with the development of the E-rig, Youngquist Brothers designed
an innovative, best in class weight system for large diameter deep wells.
The new system allows Youngquist Brothers to concentrate weight directly above the
drilling surface while also doubling as a robust stabilizer system. By incorporating
these innovations, YBI rigs are capable of drilling the most vertical wells possible
with little deviation.
