To meet the specific challenges of drilling highly regulated injection wells, YBI
has been at the forefront of new packer designs.
In the mid 1990’s Youngquist Brothers designed the first Positive Seal Packer. This
new packer was a substantial advancement in the way large diameter injection wells
were sealed.
The YBI Retrievable Positive Seal Packers is one of the latest innovations. This
new packer design allows for the same great sealing properties of the PSP with the
added function of been easily retrievable if and when it may be required in the
future.
The YBI Triple Seal Packer has been a very successful packer design. The Triple
seal design allows YBI to ensure an excellent cement envelope at the base of the
casing.
The YBI California Packer offers a safe and economical alternative for small diameter
wells.
