YBI Lands Heaviest String of Casing in Company History

YBI is pleased to announce that we are 99% complete on the Town of Davie Deep Injection Well Project. The project, which consisted of two deep injection wells and one monitor well, was a landmark project for YBI. YBI mobilized two E-Rigs to the project which allowed the schedule to move forward quickly. The injection wells were completed to an open hole depth of almost 3700’ and were final cased with approximately 2900’ of 30” diameter by 0.500” wall steel casing. The two strings of 30” casing have the distinction of being the two heaviest casing strings that YBI has ever set. Each string weighed in at just over 505,000 lbs! Cameron Webster was the superintendent responsible for this history making project and we are very pleased to have him working with us here on the YBI team.
