Real Estate Development & Home Construction – We are involved in the purchase and development of property in the Houston, Texas area. We primarily develop single family lots and construct and sell homes on those lots. We have been in this business since 1990 in Texas and have 5 subdivisions in various stages of development. We build and sell approximately 75 homes a year.

When THD was formed in 1990 with the purchase of 53 residential lots in Mont Belvieu, Jim and Kim Davis moved to Texas from Fort Myers Beach, FL. and dedicated themselves to providing the highest valued home in the market.  Customer satisfaction, value of the home and the quality of the buying experience became their primary focus.  During the early years, they dedicated themselves strictly to building homes on finshed lots.  As they grew and learned what the customer wanted, they expanded their operation from home construction only to becoming vertically integrated and involved in land acquisitions, platting, road construction, installation of water and sewer systems, home construction and in-house marketing and sales.  They have purchased sufficient land to develop over 3,000 residential lots in four separate subdivisions.  This gives them the ability to plan an entire subdivision from the beginning so that each community may include items their customers are looking for such as larger lots, convenient location and lighting.

Texas Home Development's intent is to offer products that appeal to a broad cross section of the market, ranging from first time home buyers to active life styles and upper-end luxury home buyers.   Prices range from $135,000 to $250,000 with product selections including Single Family Homes, Townhouses and Patio Homes.

Carolina Home Development (CHD)
Raleigh Durham, North Carolina – We have started a similar company to THD in Carolina and have 12 homes under construction. We purchase 30 home lots and also have a 93acre parcel in Boone, NC that is currently being developed with an additional 55 lots.

Blue Ridge, GA
We have purchase an 80acre parcel that is 1 hour north of Atlanta, GA. We have under contract an additional 183acre parcel that we hope to close in 90 days. This property is to be developed into weekend retreat lots with either long range views from the top of mountains or creek frontage.

Develop into Heavy Industrial Park – We are in the process of changing the Comprehensive Land Plan for this property so we can rezone it from Agriculture to Heavy Industrial. There is a shortage of Industrial Zoning in SW Florida and this project would put us in the middle of one of the fastest growing regions in South Florida.
